Advent...

We're all about creating memories in our family.

I am thinking about making this...

And then placing an activity in each of the teeny boxes for Shiloh to pick out each day of December leading up to Christmas...

Here is our family '25 days of Christmas' list.  I realize that we might have to switch some of the activities around... but these are the things we have come up with.

1

bake holiday rice crispy treats and give them to our neighbors

sing and dance to Christmas music

3

go sledding as a family

4

watch a Christmas movie

5

make Christmas cards for friends

6

put money in the salvation army bucket outside the store

7

make a teeny Christmas tree and decorate with popcorn garland

8

drink hot apple cider

9

take a family holiday photo

10

eat a french toast breakfast while listening to Christmas music

drink hot cocoa

12

go to our YWAM Christmas party

make a cotton ball Santa

14

visit Santa at the mission

15

read the Christmas story

16

drink peppermint hot cocoa and walk down the pier to see the Christmas lights

visit Grammy Roo and Gpa

18

make and decorate gingerbread houses and sugar cookies

19

deliver gifts to family and friends

20

play in the snow, build a snowman, and make snow angels

21

volunteer at the mission

22

go ice-skating as a family

23

visit Great Grandma & Grandpa

24

bake cookies and leave cookies and milk for Santa

25

Hopefully I can snap a photo of each activity as we do them this month... so check back for the pics.  I am looking forward to creating memories and new traditions for our family.  :)
